Biography

Antonina di Miceli is born around 1856 in Corleone, the daughter of Maestro Calogero di Miceli and Salvatrice Carrabba.

Antonina marries Bernardo di Puma, son of the late Giuseppe di Puma and the living Liboria Bonanno, on 22 October 1876.[1]

Antonina and Bernardo have at least three children: Giovanni (1891), and two sons named Gaetano (1894 and 1895).

According to the record of his death, Giovanni is born 18 August 1891 in Corleone.[2]

The first son named Gaetano is born 9 February 1894. His father, a borgese, is out of town at the time of his birth.[3] He is presumed to have died in infancy.

The second son named Gaetano is born 17 April 1895. This record calls his parents peasants.[4]

Death of Antonina

Antonina dies at age 53 (b. 1856) on 25 December 1909. Her husband, Bernardo Di Puma, survives her.[5]

Giovanni, who is called John, dies in Chicago at age 68 on 12 October 1959.[2]
